Irish Crème and Earl Gray Kitchen and Dining Room Remodel
Fifteen years after building this Middleton home, the owners were ready to update the heart of it – the kitchen and dining room. All-new cabinetry and countertops, beverage station and buffet additions, and refinished hardwood flooring throughout the first floor did just that.
A larger kitchen window expands their unique view of University-owned agriculture and a farmette, and brings in more natural light.
Yorktowne Maple cabinetry was finished in Irish Crème and Earl Gray, and the layout was adjusted to increase the size of the island and angle and relocate the refrigerator to the corner. The hood has a cabinet front to blend in, and Cambria quartz Britannica countertops are complemented by a white herringbone backsplash.
The new dining buffet and beverage station features open shelving and glass doors for display space, and light fixtures highlight the dark accent color.
