Mission Style Interior Remodel

The owners of this home in Madison’s Dudgeon-Monroe neighborhood wanted better traffic flow and storage. They knew the 1915 mission style home was their “forever home” and chose Vive Home Transformations to remodel the interior to better fit their daily lifestyle.

In the kitchen, Vive removed the seating area, relocated the refrigerator, and added more cabinetry, a wine cooler and floating shelves. Highlights include Quartz countertops, Maple cabinetry in Tundra finish and a matte Biscuit backsplash. Above the stove are accent tiles that were adapted from Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Waterlilies” drawing.

In the dining room, an Oak banquette replaced an awkward half wall, creating a large, functional seating area. Vive also installed new hardwood flooring in the powder room and rear entrance.
