Modern Basement Remodel with Kids’ Climbing Area

This Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, basement was transformed from an unfinished storage space into the perfect downstairs retreat. The design encompasses an office space for the work from home owner, a family room for additional gathering space, a kids’ climbing area for play in all seasons, a guest bedroom, a bathroom and storage.

The project also included a curb appeal update including a new garage door, front entry update with a tongue and groove ceiling, timber accents and new railing.
