Mid-Century Modern Whole House Remodel
The owners of this mid-century modern, ranch home relocated from a larger city as newly empty-nesters. They wanted more functional, open and brighter space that maximized their views of Lake Mendota and the Capitol.
Kitchen & Mudroom
Vive Home Transformations removed the wall between the great room and kitchen and converted a three-season porch and powder bathroom into a kitchen expansion, tying it into a full remodel of the existing space. Perimeter finishes include Eclipse laminate cabinetry in Kirsche and Corian quartz countertops in Ethereal White. The large island contrasts in Eclipse acrylic cabinetry in Charcoal Velvet.
A mudroom addition provides space to relocate the laundry from the lower level, and a new fireplace, bay window, flooring and front door were also installed.
Primary Bathroom
A first-floor bedroom was transformed into a primary suite bathroom and walk-in closet. Features include Eclipse acrylic cabinetry in Slate Velvet, Corian quartz countertops in Snow White, and a tile shower.
First Floor Bathroom
A first-floor full bathroom was remodeled and a door was added to provide access from the guest bedroom.
Lower Level Bathroom
Vive built out an additional full bathroom from a toilet room on the lower level.
